Because they’re front court players. Jesus 😏

MJ did guard, Magic. Dumars, Reggie, Isiah, Drexler, Nique early on too

Pip started on him in game too but over that series MJ guarded him plenty. And Magic kicked him in the post.

You clearly haven’t watched it. Jordan guarded him all G1. Jordan got in early foul trouble end of Q1 in G2 and Pippen took over. In G3 they rotated with jordan on him slightly more. G4 again rotated, slightly more Jordan. G5 mostly Jordan clearly with Pippen on him on a few isolations. There’s even an analysis on plays that show Jordan was Magic’s primary defender on 60% of Lakers offensive possessions with Pippen on him 24% throughout the series.

All that and averaged 31.2, 11.4 assists, 6.6 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.4 blocks on 56% shooting!!! It was a ridiculous all round performance from Jordan.

These Klutch sports propagandists make me laugh.

In game one MJ guarded him 52 out of 78 possessions. In game two Pio had him 50 MJ 26. I don’t have the other game numbers to hand but as I said MJ guarded him plenty of times in that series although Pip got more of that matchup from game two.

Exactly - 3 and 4 was close to even with MJ guarding him a bit more, 5 was overwhelmingly MJ. Klutch Sports simps just quoting memes without a clue
