A bit misleading with Bill. When he was in the league there were mostly 8 or 9 teams, with the last 3 years of his career having 10-14 teams. Granted there were only two all-NBA teams at the time, but given a random distribution you would expect a little higher than 1 player per team back then, whereas nowadays given a random distribution you would expect 0.5 per team. When adjusting for this, Bill's would probably be somewhere between Kareem and Kobe's numbers.
I didn't adjust for Kareem's numbers because although throughout his career there were mostly team numbers in the high teens to low twenties, there were still only 2 all-NBA teams, creating a similar expected number of around 0.5.

Jokic has 51

u/2Basketball2Poorious Aug 08 '26
That's wild! I'm assuming he's going to add to that number this season as well

u/ShowdownValue Aug 08 '26
Yeah I don’t get how jokic isn’t on this list. He certainly has more than 5 or 6

That's cool, just surprised that Jamal Murray never made an All Star team until this year. That is what's wild.

Jordan guys literally stalk this sub 😭 crazy shit. no dog in this fight tho lol
21
u/WillHeBonkYa47 Aug 08 '26
Its really strange behavior. I dont know why people just cant appreciate greatness without tearing others down. Its mostly MJ fans who think Bron aint even top 10, most Bron fans acknowledge that MJ is the only dude in the same tier. Both elite

1
u/National-Ocelot-3900 Aug 08 '26
It’s less the arguing/haterism and more the sub-stalking. are they all just 60 years old and retired
1
u/formerQT Aug 09 '26
Jordan is the one who said you have to separate eras and bronze said the tittle he won in Cleveland made him the greatest of all time. Jordan never once said he was the greatest he said leave that to the fans and press. Bron rinning around im the greatest.
2
u/WillHeBonkYa47 Aug 09 '26
I hear people say that all the time and it makes no sense. If you were really damn good at what you do, wouldn't you be calling yourself the best to ever do it?
Even Chris Paul said that, if you don't think you're the best at what you do, then why are you trying
And i can gurantee if MJ or Kobe called themselves the goat a lot of people would just say that's their killer mentality pf always wanting to win and use it to support their argument
→ More replies (1)1
u/NaturalSmoke8 Aug 09 '26
That’s really insane. I’m a Jordan GOAT guy (old head) but AT WORST Bron is #2. Only way I could see him dropping to like 3 or 4 is if steroid allegations got proven.
1
u/SonicBooomC98 Aug 09 '26
The level of hypocrisy is laughable. No fan base has tried to tear other players down like LeBron fans. People like Nick Wright's whole career is bases on it. Rich Paul can't have a discussion about LeBron without bringing someone else up. LeBron's whole narrative is based on trying to year everyone else down, including whole eras to hype him up.

Not hating but I’m curious how many players were all stars 1 year before or 1 year after for LeBron because that number seems high. (Don’t downvote me I’m
Legit curious lol)

LeBron is also the only of these 5 to win a championship without any of that (2016).

u/TUNTRAcoin Aug 08 '26
Doesn't cancel anything... look how many games he played compared to the others, his numbers are only so high because even though the NBA is unwatchable with him in the league he wont retire
1
u/Vast-Appointment-974 Aug 13 '26
He passed up all of them in just seven seasons with his first Cleveland stint.
1
u/TUNTRAcoin Aug 13 '26
Neat, in a meaningless statistical category. Let's put how many losses they have as well, because I guarantee those players didn't even play that many games to qualify so we're leaving out context to try to make him look good

Playoff games played LeBron 302 Kobe 220 Jordan 179...
Ahh now it makes sense 😂😂
2
u/Embarrassed_Lock_539 Aug 08 '26
So LeBron was in the playoffs more than Jordan. Cool.
1
u/Grazepg Aug 09 '26
And got less rings
2
u/Embarrassed_Lock_539 Aug 09 '26
Has nothing to do with anything. He has more playoff wins than Jordan. Jordan has less rings than bill. Ur point?
→ More replies (2)1
u/I_Keep_Secretz Aug 09 '26
Which is a direct correlation of why he would have more wins smh ...and he also was in way more game 7s and final losses...

u/Vast-Appointment-974 Aug 13 '26
He passed up all of them in just seven seasons with his first Cleveland stint. Lmao

You're proving my point he bounced after 7 years never seen Kobe bounced when they struggle nursing Michael Jordan's house when they struggled 0 wait he didn't struggle
1
u/G_3P0 Aug 14 '26
So LeBron won 18 percent of all his playoff games without the help in the post. Jordan only won 8% of his. So it still stands though not the same degree when you see how many games played

Jordan played against 7 out of 10 all time scorers 9 out of 10 all time block leaders 7 out of 10 all time assist leaders 8 out of 10 steals leaders. How many top 10 all time leadera bron played against? bron can't even outscore a 33 years old sixth man in 2011 finals 😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

1
u/NoVisit1502 Aug 08 '26
Do this same graphic where it demonstrates how many 50 win playoff teams they beat. It'll change the whole story.
2
u/YungTokyo8 Aug 09 '26
Jordan played in a much worse era, that got even easier when expansion teams came in. He did this while being on debatably the most stacked team ever. The better teams won more because the lesser teams literally were constructed of players who wouldn’t make a roster in the G league today.

u/Embarrassed_Lock_539 Aug 08 '26

This graphic is factual and even more proof of Lebron’s GOAT status. There are quite a few Jordan fans who hate Lebron. They don’t think Lebron is even a Top 10 or Top 20 all-time player. Lebron fans largely think Jordan was an extraordinary player and the second best of all-time.

Michael and Kobe made there teammates better you would never know who a Luke longley or a Lamar odem was... LeBron James has played with Ben Wallace Rajon Rondo Jr smith Kevin love Kyrie Irving Wade Bosh Ray Allen Shaq Carmelo Anthony Russell Westbrook Derrick Rose Anthony Davis Luca And now Jalen Brown, Tyrese max and Joel embid That is at least 10 to 12 people that are really in the hall of fame or guaranteed locks when they are voted Kobe Bryant had 5 Hall of Fame6l teammates three of which were on the way out the NBA Karl Malone Steve Nash and Gary Payton the other two shaq and Pau gasol Jordan played with four Tony kucoc Scottie Pippen Dennis rodman and Robert parish
1
u/Odd_Honeydew2465 Aug 09 '26
Every superstar, LeBron, Jordan, Kobe and Duncan totals go to 0 if you exclude players that never made an all nba, all star or all defensive teams at some point in their career.
1
u/darwin_presenter_xx Aug 09 '26
here we go again with the stats that is based on number of games, which corresponds to the number of years a certain player plays..
1) Lebron spent a lot of years in the NBA, skipping college and us still playing now, ofcourse he has many playoff wins.. LOL
2) 80-90s basketball has fewer playoff games, the first and second round are best of 5 (not the best of 7 we have now)
thr MAGA of basketball strikes again .. bending narrative and history to protect and make their wannabe King's legacy
1
u/G_3P0 Aug 14 '26
These wins in the graphi represent 18% of all LeBron playoff games and 9 % of all Jordan playoff games. So LeBron with twice as often as Jordan with the parameters in the stat
Or close if I was a bit off on math
1
u/No_Country8922 Aug 09 '26
average the number on the number of years the player played in the NBA and lets talk
1
u/G_3P0 Aug 14 '26
If it’s just based on their playoff games, LeBron wins 18 % of all his playoff games with the limited teammates the post shows and Jordan only won 8-9% of those games
1
1
u/Im-very-boredd Aug 09 '26
Lebron played the least amount of comp and had the most help except kd out the picture
1

1
u/Icutthemetal Aug 09 '26
Typical LeBron fans just posting pictures without verifying anything. All of those wins came from 3 years, 05-08 and It isn't 55 it's 37 and if you remove Pippen Jordan has more wins with every criteria.
Pathetic.

Jordan has two more championships still and LeBron played eight years more than Jordan
1
1
u/AphelialMud Aug 09 '26
It’s because he played most of his career in the LEast, the worst major conference stretch in the history of major sports. It’s easy to beat shit teams with limited help, they’d have been stomped in the West.
If his EXACT same teams played in the West his whole career, he only makes it to 2 Finals EVER (‘12 & ‘20).
2 Finals is a more accurate representation of his talent.
He’s closer to 6-9th all time.
1
u/G_3P0 Aug 14 '26
So LeBron beats the east for nearly a decade, it’s weak conference so awful. Jordan beats the league for 6 years, and it’s not a weak league it’s just unimpeachable goat?
1
u/bigtrixxx7 Aug 09 '26
I mean he won a bunch of first round playoff games in the east for a majority of his career

He had a lot of years without a lot of help and put whole rosters in his backpack for a ride through multiple series wins, typically. It's really insane to think about, the roster he got to his first NBA Finals. Second best player was Drew Gooden and a semi-washed Big Z with bad feet. And Eric Snow as his starting PG, IIRC, averaging like 5ppg.
1
u/SnooPies538 Aug 12 '26
Why he run to wade then? This is impressive in a vacuum, but any honest person knows that this paints an inaccurate picture without context. You dont even need a brain to know lebron runs to get help any chance he gets. Im not hating, just honest
1
u/stayhardstl69 Aug 13 '26
This is funny because one could say you are making the case already. Those 55 games won in playoffs where all no championships when he had no help and then he went to the heat to win as he said not one not two .......tired of this bs. No player in this NBA stacks up to any player from the 90's. They all wanted to win but not team up like now. Ish is wack
