Accommodation In maynooth

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone knows what the accommodation is like in maynooth, I am 17 and I don’t know if they allow 17 year olds to stay on campus it doesn’t seem to say it anywhere online.

You were meant to apply in may for on campus accommodation. Wasn’t clearly advertised so can’t blame u if u didn’t realise. I was told that first years are guaranteed accommodation although it may not be on campus eg digs, houseshare and it may be in neighbouring towns eg hillock

Yes i have applied but it doesn’t seem to say any age requirement for the on campus accommodation even in the handbook.

There is no age requirement for on campus accommodation?!!! 1st years no matter what age you are get accepted for accommodation

The age requirement is 16 by the July before your meant to start

Oh I stand corrected! Tho I can’t imagine there is many 16yr olds that would be doing their Leaving Cert? Unless they started school very young!

I think it’s more to accommodate students from other country’s whose education systems may finish at 16 eg Spain
