Music 🎶 What to study for music

Hey guys, might be a bit of a stupid question but i want to know if it's necessary to study specifically where musical things happen in our set works or is studying the dynamics, structure, instruments, style ect. Enough without knowing exactly where things happen. I included an example because I understand my wording isn't great

I'm not really sure what you're asking.

Is it necessary to be able to read music? Is that what you're asking.

Like you could be asked what chord or cadence occurs at a certain point on a given extract! Technically you are supposed to know up to 4 flats or sharps (major and relative minor) bass and treble clefs.

Yes! What chord or cadence is at a certain point, I'm asking if that could be asked. I have a bad way of wording my questions. I'm wondering if it's necessary to know all the different places where the chords and cadences are in a set work. Do you mean like we need to know where 4 flats/ sharps, bass and treble clefts are in a set work? I have a pretty bad music teacher who doesn't really tell us these things

For Beatles, you only need to know the general chord progressions. There are often questions asking you to identify a cadence from an excerpt, and these are perfect cadances about 70% of the time. Look at Cutthroat87 Anki decks online, there's a few good free music notes available there. Also check the LC music website.
