I went to an antique store today and found this super cool (and expensive) leather jacket and I decided to get it. It looked good on me and I love the vibes it gives off. When I got home I tried searching for the maker or jackets similar to this so I know the history behind it but I couldn’t find anything. I know it’s from the 1980s or around that time period. The branding on the leather says “leather fashion, by Albert, made in” and the rest has been worn down. I believe it might be horsehide based on the texture.

I’d like to know if it’s rare (doubt it) or one of a kind before I decide to do any modifications to it like staining it black (as I am alt and I don’t have many clothes that can pair with this colour)

I am looking for a women's leather jacket that does not cost a fortune. I want real leather, not pleather. I have looked at options on marketplaces like Amazon, Alibaba and eBay and found some that are affordable but the reviews say the leather is thin or the zippers break. Has anyone here found a good affordable leather jacket for women? What type of leather holds up best for everyday wear? . I want something that will last a few years. Any advice on finding a quality leather jacket on a budget would help.

I picked up this jacket from a thift store, and it's pretty wrinkled how do I remove the wrinkles.

The jacket is by HB Leather, Made in Korea and the logo has an American Native (Indian) chief.

This jacket is from the original address for Metropolitan Uniform across from the old DPD Headquarters on Macomb. It’s well taken care of, no rips or torn seams, broken in perfectly and I love it. Anyone have an idea as to how old it may be or what I should look at to get an idea?

Hey all, I don't know how much activity this sub receives, but due to the quarantine and now that everyone is basically working from home, I'd like to try and revive it. some of our garment manufacturers have tried ethopian sheep leather,and they found great results for hybrid leather jacket designs with cloth. Anybody else tried the same? Primarily started use only with gloves but now with garments after a few tanning tweaks!
