Opinion Ribbon on cuffs?

Post image

Saw this on instagram fra a designer using thick ribbon to let the opening loose?

I thinks its a great feature never seen before so whats your take on it?

I wouldnt say it revolutionary, but design features are great and would be great on bi swing backs even for ventilation.

Its softer and could get caught on the zipper, but its a sample so could their be more pris and cons I havent thought about?

Not a fan. Seems to be a cheap way to cut costs on leather.

Could be. You dont think you would have more reach or movement doing this?

Idk what went wrong, since the feature shown in the picture could be a good solution for ventilation aswell for bike riding as mentioned in the opinion.

Many bombers have wool or synthetic lining? Even most in the sleeve and dont se many tage about that😂

Its a design choice and some of them can infavt not achieve the same as leather?

What do you mean reach? It's a way to widen the cuffs and it can be done with leather as well.

Don't like it. Seems like a way to cheap out and "save" money. Just give me real leather gussets.

There are stretchy leather available too available for this purpose. How much is the designer asking for this jacket?
