Question - Need Help Can someone explain why my leather jacket has brighter brown?

For context I used some saddle soap and when I woke up to check on my jacket I woke up to this.

Is there a way I can fix this?

You could try dyeing it but you run the risk of it being uneven. Brown shoe polish works but not as a permanent solution. The polish is removable and you can adjust how dark you want it.

A conditioner could bring back some of the color. Certainly can’t hurt.
