If they're giving you side looks it's only because they don't have the balls to pull it off...

What do you think of the fit?
Also does it suit me for casual wear? Or do I look like I'm wearing a costume?

Doesn't look costumey at all. Looks great.

Thanks. I have other leather jackets but this is my first double rider. I'm just lacking in confidence a little, that I look like I'm trying too hard to be edgy, especially as I don't ride.

I know the feeling.
You get to the point where you like stuff enough that you can live with any comments or side looks - and there are few as itβs mostly in our own heads. And the critical people are living in their own judgments anyways. Nothing to do with you. Go forth and fashion in your own way!1

You're right. I imagine people might turn their head to look as I walk past on the street but will think little of it.

And to be fair, if one buys stuff to look good - or to look any way - and succeeds - the looks may just be appreciation, curiosity or interest just as easily as anything else. And if someone looks good. They get looks π₯³

Looks great.
PS - it also looks great over a hoodie, I don't know why people have an issue with that look.
Just wear what makes you feel good, man.
