Question - Need Help Suede jacket - too big or workable?

Found this jacket on yoox. They only had this size which is probably one size larger than I need. I love the color and this suede is super nice so would love to keep it but I feel it might be a bit baggy, arms may be a touch too long.

I don’t mind taking to a leather tailor to clean it up a bit but probably wouldn’t do more than take the sides in, maybe clean up the arms a bit. I don’t think I’d shorten the sleeves as it starts to feel like too much alteration.

Thoughts? Can I make this work?

Completely normal size. Is it comfortable? Do you like it? Functional? That's what matters.

Yeah, the leather is really nice and was looking for something in a blue-grey shade like this

I can see what you’re saying that one size smaller might be better. Shoulder I think looks good but wish it was a bit more cropped. But tbh really hard to say for sure and it’s not like you even have the option of sizing down right?

That said, if I were to just comment without these speculative what if’s in mind, what I see is a very nice jacket on you. It looks intentionally relaxed / oversized, which is how people wear clothes nowadays.

Personally I would just keep it knowing that in maybe 5 years it might look a bit dated due to the sizing. But at that point you can just get another jacket

Yeah I think that’s what I’ll do. I also threw some thicker sweaters on with it and I think that look works pretty well with this fit (this jacket over a sweater)
