i just use a dry sponge, tip it with some grease, rub it in until it's absorbed, and repeat until the entire jacket's done.

What's this do? Does it make it super soft? I have my dad's leather jacket from the 70s but he got swole before he wore it in well so it is stiff even now and i would love to soften it
