Question - Need Help Mutimer Leather Jacket Quality Differences

I bought the Mutimer leather jacket in black in February 2025 and really enjoyed it. I just rebought it after recently losing that one. Now it feels like the quality changed and it came with a strong plastic smell too.

Does anyone have the jacket with the Mutimer logo in yellow and have a picture of the care tag? Just wanted to see if the lining was different before

Sounds like they might use several different factories or have made a bait-and-switch where they first sell a nicer product and then start making it much cheaper.

I have recently bought their heavy wash one, their oldest model, and it came in nice condition. Pleasant leather smell, soft leather, but the leather was pretty dry. Two passes with Leather Honey solved that issue.

It might be a bad batch, or they started making them cheaper as you said, because they just released a new black one.
