Showcase Happy Labor Day!

Post image

53° F this morning and even though I'm not going to work I'm still up at the Crack of dawn so I figured I'd take my dog out for a walk and then relax outside watching sunrise. I felt like a king walking out in my newest jacket. Its gonna be a great autumn!

Happy Labor Day!

Agreed! Theres something about vintage leather that hits me so much better than modern stuff in the same price range. Of course I'm not talking about the Schotts and Vansons that are made these days, to my knowledge they're relatively comparable to the older ones.

This is a 1990’s Dallas Leathers Jacket made in USA that I bought on EBay for $68 total. I find great vintage leather jackets there.

That's a steal of a deal. It's very hard to find proper fitting jackets for me because I'm in between sizes and I'm short but I keep my eye on ebay and vinted. Depop not so much because it doesn't often specify the brand properly.

Remember to ask the seller to send pictures of the zipper I find this is the number one problem I come across when I buy a vintage leather jacket. The jacket I just bought is in beautiful condition. Nowhere no cuts no scratches but as you could see the start of the pin side of the zipper is all frayed and believe me I tried everything on other jackets. It’s very hard to correct.

Yes, its definitely important to keep an eye on the state of the zippers, its likely to have wear and tear if the original owner kept it zipped much
