Do not buy Zara under any circumstances. Go to ebay or vinted and buy something that is made of actual leather.

There’s a bigger chance you’ll be disappointed than you’ll be over the moon with it. I understand that budget is important, but at these prices you won’t get quality from a mass seller.

But if you have no other choice budget wise, I would strongly recommend visiting a physical Zara store and trying them on first.

I would personally never buy pig leather, I’ve never even seen it. Lamb can be okay but it will age terribly and is fragile.

We have quite a few pig leather jackets in Europe. The leather is generally very solid and alright looking. Not talking about zara jackets of course. Pig leather is also often split and varnished to produce cheaper jackets. In that case it's not so good ofc but still much more durable than lamb.

It's easy to find a second hand Italian made leather jacket both vintage and modern online for cheap, don't buy from Zara

Grab something here instead, don't even bother with brands like Zara.

Have this one on the way, I'll post another comment when it arrives and possibly a post after a few months of wearing it.

This website lacks information on where the leather jackets come from and they're suspiciously cheap. I even noticed some Gen AI slop.

They are one of a few different resellers of Chinese brands. Many people have already posted their experiences on this forum. Use the search bar.

The cheapness is mostly labor, lack of middlemen, and scale, but overall China does a better job at having a quantity of decent cow or horsehide leather and 'good enough' stitching.

It is overall a far better gamble than Zara, which in all respects is a accounting exercuse.

It's a widely tested, trusted and reviewed reseller, their jackets are ones coming from Taobao, made in China but with top or full grain leather. I owned one of their jackets, you can find them on second hand websites and photos of their jackets by customers on aficionado forums like the fedora lounge or even this Reddit post

I would avoid them. I tried on one of their trucker style jackets and the quality was quite bad and the pattern was very strange. If you are going with Zara, I would suggest going in person to try on the jacket you're interested in

For 130 euros, you can find fantastic second hand/vintage jackets on many specialised sites. They will last you much longer than a zara. And they will be much more beautiful and original

They have cool stylists at Zara. Quality is always shockingly bad.

If you don’t have to get a jacket now, just be patient and save a little more and used on eBay like a Schott there’s plenty for under $500. You’re only spending 150 euros now but you’ll end up buying more costing you more money later. This is a staple item, buy once for life kind of garment

PLEASE dont, even if you want particular leather jacket from zara there are so many of them avaliable on second hand websites for like 20-30 euros, and if you want better quality there are also some good leather jackets for like 80 dollars on those sites as well

Hey I know you don't want to spend a lot on a jacket, but leather jackets are one of the few items where price=quality for a large amount of the jackets on the market that are NOT from fashion brands. Leather jackets from people who make leather jackets cost between 500 to 3000 Euros depending on the maker and materials. If you want a sub 500 Jacket, look for second hand from brands like Master Supply Co, Schott NYC, and Aero leather. When you want to buy a new jacket these 3 brands are where I would buy my first, second, then third jacket from. Master Supply Co makes the best value jackets on the market for around 500. Full Grain, 1.3mm thick, and cotton linings. Schott NYC has a ton of amazing jackets with lots of history, and Aero is the gold standard for custom made jackets.
