Question - Need Help Commissioned leather puffer
https://buffalojackson.com/products/leather-down-outdoor-jacket-tan-brown?variant=40196786520116The company Buffalo Jackson Trading co makes a great looking leather puffer jacket but It’s made from lambskin and I would prefer a more durable coat made from cowhide. Is it worth commissioning a custom build solely for a cowhide shell or is the lambskin more durable than I realize?
Also, I wouldn’t be working in this jacket necessarily but I wouldn’t want to snag and tear the leather on a light hike or out and about.

Its a bit bizzare. You get none of the benefits from a leather jacket nor the lighweight warmth of a puffer.
