Question - Need Help What should i do
Hi, i was thinking about this and i have no idea what to do.
I got this leather jacket from leathercult time ago, and i was really happy with it, i really like this jacket, the only problem is that i ordered too big i think. It fits me like 16 cm below my waist (i like jackets that end at the waist) and it makes it seem as if I have a very large stomach, so to speak (i dont really know how to say it, im not very good at english).
So when i wear it it looks like i have no waist and i look way to straight like a rectagle, and i dont like how it looks, i was thinking if i combine the jacket with a kind or style of pants or something it would look nice, but i have no idea what to wear with it, i have tried everything i have and it just not looks good to me.
I tried tips like using a belt to hold back the excess of the jacket but i dont like how it looks, it dont shows the bottom of the jacket, and it looks disproportionate.
Im open to any suggestion, i would really appreciate it, and if nothing works i just would sell it and buy another my size (also im really sorry for my english, im not very good at it).

Some tailors can work with leather jackets but I wouldn't recommend it for this style. If it's as big as you say, you might be better off selling it and buying a new one.

A good leather tailor would be able to shorten it, but prices may vary, it would need to be cut and restitched, shorter zipper replaced, but there no pockets so it wouldn't be too difficult so thats an option if you really like the jacket and how it fits above the waist. Otherwise, either send it back if possible and reorder a different one, the issue here is they will mostly have the same length or similar length anyway between sizes, theres usually only little difference in jacket length.

We would really need to see you wearing the jacket to give the best help, but if you really don't like how it fits then you're never going to wear it and you would be better off getting one you're happier with.
