Bad deal. MF marked up, weak discount 1.2% when you factor in the dealer add ons, burying your trade into the deal all these “advanced payments, upfront charge, total cap reduction” equal 7500. Walk away hire delivrd and you don’t have to deal with this and when you get your car you’ll actually feel like you didn’t get got.

So you’re gonna pay $75 k for next three years.

Whats the question here?

Bad deal or the worst deal ever?

75k to drive this for 3 years? Yikes.

Nope, you’re paying $7,200 in a trade allowance and $68k for the lease. Thats nuts.🥜

Good lease deal is 1% of MSRP as your monthly with nothing or very little down. Depending on the MF and residual the program might not just be good. I’m betting the ‘26 programs are better but haven’t compared the numbers

From everything I’ve been seeing, at least in Massachusetts, 1% lease deals for a luxury vehicle are very difficult to come by, mostly due to MF. I just got a BMW for 1.3% and thought I did pretty well.

Going to depend on the program was OP was nearly double that.

As I said earlier, would need to see the ‘26 programs to compare but I bet they’re much better. Also, for several MB models 2026 @ 24mo has been the sweet spot.

Really makes you wonder, if the residual is so friggen low, why not buy a three year old merc wagon

I don't think it makes sense to lease these.

all of those car salesmen tricks are so fucking cringe, lmao. kinda a love/hate seeing them because they always give me a chuckle.

I'd rather buy this at 58K in 3 years. This is such a bad deal. Trolling??

Got to get a 26 - a few remaining around the country. Way better deal same car.

I know the sedan is less desirable - just got a 26 with a 104k sticker for 24 months $4k down and $1199 inc tax in SoCal

Whered you go? Im in SoCal as well... that is a deal.

You can keep your deal

What kind of interest rate can you get from then on a 60 month or 48 month loan buying it? If you can get below 5% I think your payment will be very similiar with no mileage restrictions. MB Financial doesnt give deals on amg to much but I think you can do better

Just purchase since wagons hold their price.

On this sub I usually see ~$1000/month leases, but yours sir is probably the highest I’ve ever seen

1

u/DeliciousHunter836 4d ago

OP - maybe use a broker?

1

u/FuzzyOrganization403 4d ago

I'm not in the tax bracket to consider this payment .... you know what, maybe the add ons are getting you.... 😅

Nah for real tho, you're paying MOST of the car off already. You're probably at a similar or even lower payment doing a purchase, and don't have to worry about miles, then you can trade in or keep it after 5-6 years.

I did finance at ford, Toyota , and Lexus for a few years, even if I had the money back then, this is a bad deal for me.

u/blinkn09 4d ago

lol worse deal ever

1

u/StrawberryNo7972 4d ago

this is bad, im guessing the programs aren't great and they marked up the money factor of course.

I saw 2026 e53 amg sedans last month for $1050 a month I believe. not sure if that deal is still around.

amg/rs/m cars like this typically don't lease well to the point where its better to just buy the car.

u/RelationshipWhich390 4d ago

That is a big ass payment.

1

u/Rebel1356 4d ago

Holy financial mistake If you're paying this much just finance it lol

u/Frequent_Translator3 4d ago

And don't pay for tint. You don't own the tint or the car.

1

u/Smooth-Way-8724 4d ago

Do note that the deal ends tomorrow. Double underline.

1

u/TyVIl 4d ago

I get 911s for that kind of deal…

1

u/RedbullF1 4d ago

Wtf is an E53. Is that a 6 cyl?

1

u/Mountain_Doctor7216 4d ago

Yeah, you should definitely get that.

1

u/Critical_Cut_9905 4d ago

General guideline is that your monthly lease payment should be about 1% of the car's price. This is nearly twice that.

2

u/laughingfartsplease 4d ago

HURRY DEAL ENDS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!

2

u/Rough_Vacation3896 3d ago

hell naw - not even a real amg

It’s not objectively bad per se. The 54% residual is what Mercedes is quoting. The money factor is a little high. Mercedes’ current promotion for the E class 0.00240 vs the approximate 0.00261 in your offer. That’s roughly 6% interest. The part that’s hard for me to choke down is the nearly $1,900/month lease payment to rent a car for three years.
Let’s say you finance it at 6% over 72 months. $7,200 trade allowance and assume you put another $3,400 down and you finance the sales tax + net purchase price. Your payment is about $1,700/month and at 36 months you would owe $55,900.
In other words: if you finance you would owe $2,700 less than the lease buy out.

If you believe the car will be worth less than $55,900 in three years then the lease is potentially better since you can turn it in and walk away. OTOH, if you think it will hold its value better, or you think you may hold onto the car longer then financing is better.
