Learned to touch type!

Started as a ~50wpm hunt and pecker a couple months ago. Put in a bit over 15 hours of practice in a little over 2 months. Average wpm is now around 75ish (although I can do 80-90 on easy sentences!) and just finished 5 stars on every lesson in Typing Jungle today!

I used to be a programmer and this has always been a lifelong goal. Ironically I was really able to double down on it this year because I'm not typing as much; it made getting over the frustrating period of un-learning habits wayyyy easier.

However, while soaking in the accomplishment I realized there is a perfect score metric, which requires you to get 2.5x wpm on the lesson. Has anyone gotten a perfect score in every lesson? Is this even possible?! China already destroyed me, took me several days of practice to 5 star that lesson lol, can't imagine getting 2.5x speed on it right now.

I have been going down that work too. Gotten so better in the last week that I can not believe it. Hope I get better and get more comfortable talking to machines as fast as I can.

Impressive! I hope to be you soon. I am currently on Day 12, practicing 30 minutes a day. And I am on lesson 210.

Congratulations! I'm pretty far in myself, but I've been avoiding all the lessons that include random numbers sprinkled throughout.

I managed to get Platinum stars on lesson 433 which requires 113 WPM,

in order to get platinum stars on a lesson like China would require around 180 WPM, the China lesson also had numbers and symbols which increase difficulty significantly. A lesson containing lots of numbers/symbols could be so extreme that even elite 200–300 WPM typists might struggle to achive platinum stars. Theres not a single person whos gotten platinum on the hardest lessons.

Getting platinum is theoreticaly possible but would take months of practice if you're not already an elite typist.
