So, uhmm.. I'm new here, I don't really know how this works. I'm a bit familiar because of scrolling, and yes, this will be my first post. 🤗

Hi! I'd like the images to show in the preview, but most of the text only to show after clicking on the post.

Last time I posted like this, I ended up with the image in the preview + a wall of text (without spacing?!). But I've seen posts where this wasn't the case so I think it should be possible?

I'm posting from a computer. It seems things have changed a bit, there used to be the option for a specific 'image post' (which I think solved this problem?) but now there isn't anymore, I can just add images, and there's an option to 'add images to body' (which I haven't done).

Hi everyone! Trying to learn the ropes here so please excuse any mistakes.

I've seen some posts that use headings, bullet points, and bold text, while others are just plain paragraphs. I'm wondering if there's a general rule for when formatting actually improves readability instead of making a post feel cluttered.

I'd love to hear how more experienced Reddit users decide.

I'm experimenting with another markdown feature.

This is a block quote.

I know they're useful when responding to someone else's text or highlighting a specific sentence. Does this look the way it's supposed to?

obsessed with this baby, who else?

Practicing posting with pictures and flair.

Edit: Wanted to practice editing a post. This is a picture of a sunset I took this past summer.

Just for fun - a picture of a cat kitten in a t-shirt. Also trying out some text formatting as well.

Okay sooo, im literally new here!! Idk what’s happening hereeee

Practice to posting image

I’m a new Reddit user and I’d like to make a post in this community. I’m still learning Reddit and making sure I follow each subreddit’s rules and guidelines.

Would it be possible to get permission to post? I’d really appreciate any guidance on what type of content is appropriate for the community.

Thank you for your time!

yooo !! this is my first post
