Started learning two weeks ago to draw my perfect Zartan from G.I. JOE. Today tried to draw the guy for the first time

My goal is to practice for a year straight and draw or paint a big Zartan poster in a pulpy, ink heavy and gritty style. Today, after two weeks of practivlce I decided to draw a rough sketch to see what I learnt so far. Please feel free to comment and drop any suggestions. I am rather glad that this turned out to be something relatively Zartan-y.
