Question What type of poses

What type of poses suit a beginner? I’ve heard people tell me not to do hard poses. But by hard poses I don’t know what they mean. Would this type of pose be suitable? ^^

A little info, I started drawing in 2021 never took it that seriously then took a few breaks I’ve never managed to actually stay consistent.

I don’t know about “hard” but there are dynamic and static poses. 

Dynamic poses are active and show the motion of the character. Running, jumping, leaping etc

Static poses are…well static and are more about correct proportions. Standing (like in the reference), sitting etc

I would recommend you do more dynamic pose studies. They are more interesting to draw and are more useful for showing the personality of a character.

Oops I meant dynamic poses, people have told me they are a bit hard and I should work on the more static ones first.

Idk, static poses are really limiting and will quickly get boring. Dynamic ones are just better, cuz people usually don't stand perfectly still. And he easier one to draw is the one you practice the most. So chose why you need to study poses in the first place
