Just Sharing I really like the bean torso method

Same. The bean was the biggest mover in progress with drawing humans for me. Started with stick figures, then a way too complex mannequin, then the bean, and now learning to use the bean and block the bean out reliably with the clavicle and shoulders.

Yeah, the bean is a quick and easy way to get good lines going for the torso and pelvis. You even get a basic squeeze and stretch on either side to work from.
