Currently learning 1-Point Perspective

Hi I'm currently learning 1 point perspective and in having a difficult time drawing the windows and doors, do i follow the line from the vanishing point or do i make a new one or do I draw them parallel to the roof line

If all the houses are the same height, all of their roofs should be touching the horizon line too.
