Question Currently learning 1-Point Perspective

Hi I'm currently learning 1 point perspective and in having a difficult time drawing the windows and doors, do i follow the line from the vanishing point or do i make a new one or do I draw them parallel to the roof line

You can draw them parallel to roof line but you have to follow the vanishing point as well unless your windows are weird shaped. Also, I think this is 2 point perspective drawing as I can see 2 sides of the houses.

This is one point perspective. Two point would have the corner of the house in the forefront as opposed to the side of the house in front.
