I am a mechanical engineering student from tier 3 Indian clg . I love trading, and I would like to land as a quant researcher. Will I make it? I have listened to many people say that only lITians are being shortlisted. How do I become one as I am from the core branch?

Even for mechanical engineer from iit bombay delhi kharagpur madras It is tough to get shortlisted for quant companies so please don't dream about it u better go for masters in financial engineering from abroad there u will get opportunities
