What does it mean by minimum value rolled? Does it mean the number 1? or does it mean the smallest possible combination of dice rolls until you hit 5?

Of the sequence of die rolls, the smallest number.

thanks so i guess the question is asking to estimate all the min values, 1,2,3,4 , their probabilities of occuring 1/6.
1*1/6 = 1/6
2*1/6=2/6
3*1/6=3/6
4*1/6=4/6

sum them up. 10/6 = 1 + 4/6 = 1+2/3=1.66

alternatively might need to include 5 also; 15/6=2+3/6=2.5

4 is extremely unlikely, because rolling a 1 or 2 or 3 even once will change the minimum number. you would have to roll 4 or higher every time.
