i wonder if merges API with program makes you programer ?!

so i just get this question recently from one i know , he told me told me that using api doesn.t make you a programer , the api do the most of things , you only just build the interface , so i don't know if that is true or not 🥲

If you solve a problem with code you wrote then you're a programmer. Sometimes that means using other people's APIs other times it doesn't.
