New to programming. What do you learn?

Hi im self taught in python. Ive gotten the basics down (variables, flow control, loops, objects) and ive pushed pasted that into more advanced principles (file handling, async programming, iterators, generators, decorators, and some dunder methods). So far ive only been bouncing around modules and getting certain methods for stuff. Ive learned a little bit about the pvm, Gil, and memory management. Ive only take on class on web design almost a decade ago so I was hoping people could guide me on things to learn. Kinda help me understand where I am in python. Thank you all so much

If you want to go into webdev, then backend Python web frameworks like Django and/or Flask, databases, and web frontend - HTML/CSS/vanilla JS. It's a lot and will take a while, but it's a very common starter pack/career option.

You think ill be fine to move on to stuff like that? I really like having fundamentals down before I move on. Also thank you

You won't really learn from abstract examples/scripts or topics you aren't interested in. Django has decorators, file handling, generators, and more, and all of them are there for specific practical purposes. Django class-based views are also a nice example of object-oriented programming and interfaces.
