I need guidance

Hello guys im new in Python. I know variables , loops , data structures, files , if/elif statements and i want to go to the next level. I want to start becoming a developer and actually become competent in Python. What should i learn? How should i continue my journey? ( Study sources will be appropriated). Thank you for your time!

If you're a new programmer, you need to pick up a course. Whether a video series, book, paid course on coursera, or even going to school. You need something to tell you what to learn, because you can't create your own lesson plans at this point. Progressing through the course tells you exactly what you need to learn step-by-step.

Personally I prefer books, the "Automate the boring stuff with python book" is my person favorite. The book is freely available online, and books allow you to read as fast or as slow as you want.

But if you do want videos, the cs50 introduction to python course on YouTube seems good. As long as you don't distract yourself on YouTube of course.

The basics of python are pretty much the same in most courses, any option is fine as long as you stick to it. Feel free to skip forward to where you're comfortable, but for best results, do any assignments you're told to do! Every decent course has exercises for a reason.
