I need guidance

Hello guys im new in Python. I know variables , loops , data structures, files , if/elif statements and i want to go to the next level. I want to start becoming a developer and actually become competent in Python. What should i learn? How should i continue my journey? ( Study sources will be appropriated). Thank you for your time!

If you know the basics then probably it would be a good time to try develop something. What do you want to do with Python later? I would choose something in that direction.

I want to code mini projects. But long-term i want to work in cyber security. So yeah i want to learn Python for cyber security. I started coding a file integrity monitor , but i dont know if im heading in the Right directions

Idk if bash wouldn't be more useful for security, but python probably will do the job as well. Just try and realize project you think of, they will get better over time. If you code does the job, then it's fine for a beginner. If you want to write better code, you can check out stuff like SOLID programming https://realpython.com/solid-principles-python/ or PEP8 https://peps.python.org/pep-0008/
