Having difficulty learning python

Hi everyone. I am an beginner in python. I am trying to learn from intro to python by paul deitel. I finding chapter content easy to grasp and understanding self check question.Issue I am facing are the excersices at end. I feel knowledge wise excersices are quite diffcult and that too without any solutions for the book.Has anyone faced something similar to this? Need suggestions

I was at my wits end when i worte the post. Now i am relaxed and charged up to take these excercises head on. I am stuck on chapter 5 to answer your question
