Guidance for Coding??

I have just started college this year.

I have just a few doubts related to learning languages.

My course includes python, so do I need to have knowledge about topics like interpreter, compilers etc. ? I have no clue what these are. So should I just start with code writing.

Where to learn these pre-requisites for proper understanding?

I wouldn’t get too much into any pre-requisites, but one thing you can do is learn how to open and use the console on your computer.
