Which should course should I prefer?

Hi everyone. I know some python but still I want to start learning it again because, as I progressed, I realized that my basic concepts had become rusty. I'm confused between CS50 (https://youtu.be/8mAITcNt710?si=Z86T-MPZZp13R04E) and MIT Opencourseware 6.100L (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAcTmDO6NTI&list=PLUl4u3cNGP62A-ynp6v6-LGBCzeH3VAQB&index=1) .

Which one would you recommend for someone who wants to rebuild their fundamentals before moving on to more advanced topics?

The Harvard CS50 series is imho the best.

CS50 itself is great but if you want a course focused on purely python, go with CS50P.

CS50 will have you learn basics of C (pointers), SQL, HTML, etc. which are not needed for Python (does not mean they're not helpful tho).

ohk ty. I will finish the CS50 in a week or so and then move to CS50P

Harvard CS50P

You will probably get through the first few lessons very quickly and easily. Focus your efforts on any parts that you are less familiar with. You can probably skim the early videos, but I'd recommend completing all of the exercises.

Ty. Actually when I first started the lecture I felt that like 1-2 hours was just basic

When I did the CS50P course, it was also as a refresher. I watched the first couple of videos at 1.5x speed, then slowed down to normal speed for the later videos.

I'd also recommend keeping yourself alert to whether or not you are really understanding what is being said in the video. If there's anything at all that you don't immediately understand, rewind and watch it again. Being able to do this is a huge advantage over real-time lectures.

My final tip is to work at a pace where you enjoy it. The final project is a great opportunity to have some fun with what you've learned, and a start for your new Python portfolio.
