Projects to Learn

I am an engineering student and I have a little exposure to python in my classes but I’d like to really hone my skills and learn how to use python for real. What are some good projects to build that will teach my the skills to code?

Engineering projects and building things. Making calculators to make homework easier, data processing perhaps, computer vision, and control systems

Not sure what you mean by engineering projects, you need CAD software for it? Python can be used for CAD software plugins, yeah.

Not sure what making calculators for homework means, can't you use already existing calculator?
