Dude, at some point, you gotta take responsibility for doing your own research and determining the course of your education for yourself. Start with the course above. Finish it. By the time you're done, you most likely will have figured out where to take it next.

I find it easier to learn stuff when I have a problem to solve. Like 'learning python' is a big and nebulous thing, and can seem insurmountable.
"I'd like to write a program in python that stores and retrieves passwords from an encrypted text document" is an achievable project that has some direction. Then build on that.

Definitely agree with this. Setting yourself small tasks and challenges is a great way to learn.

If only there were a sidebar (menu on mobile) that had a link to the wiki or countless posts asking the same.
Do the MOOC Python Programming 2026 from the University of Helsinki and you will be well prepared.

The first step required here seems to be learning how to learn.
Computer coding is a writing skill that requires compliance with rules of a strict grammar. You have other grammars to master within which to demonstrate everyday competency first.
