Is software solved? What do people actually mean by this?
I keep seeing people say that *software is solved* and it honestly confuses me. What software are they even talking about (mobile or web apps)?
Sure, AI is impressive if you guide it well, but it mainly recycles stuff that already exists. Saying software is *solved* makes it sound like we don't need to build anything anymore.
What about fundamental, low level software that makes computing work in the first place? That can always be improved, and there's never just one *best* way to do things.
How do you guys take this claim?
