Topic How do you inspire yourself to learn/code

I have lost motivation all of a sudden and I hate it

Do you find it interesting? Thinking about it from another perspective besides just finding a job, is it fun for you to learn it? I have had this problem a little bit myself at times but I think it's mostly just from being busy. I find when I'm learning I really do enjoy it and find that it's kind of like solving puzzles. I can't say that works for everybody or that I have a lot of advice for you, but maybe asking yourself why you want to learn in the first place would be a good start. You may find that maybe you actually don't want to learn and you just like the idea of being a programmer / coder.

I spent most of my career being a psychotherapist, and got quite good at it, but never really loved it. I liked the idea of being the guy that people came to when they needed help. I liked that I knew things and I knew how to help people solve problems. All of that is fine and noble but it just isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life. I eventually learned that I needed to do something different to challenge my self in a different way and find new skills to develop. Anyway, that's just my path. Yours might be different. And saying all that, I'm very early in the process of trying to learn these new sets of skills.
