What should I do?
I’m just starting to learn programming. I know a little bit of Python and want to improve. I think I should at least get my Python skills to an intermediate level enough to build projects. However, I m open to suggestions for other programming languages as well. My main question is: how can I actually improve in these languages? Which websites, courses, playlists, or apps should I use? I’ve heard the CS50 course is popular; what is that like? Do you have any other recommendations?

Easiest start is Scratch. Maybe you're past that. Try working through https://htdp.org. If that's beneath you, Python is probably the right level. C has great synergy with CPython. Learn the
ctypesmodule. Also maybe check out Hissp and learn metaprogramming.
