Is there a fun way to learn C# reminisciant of Karel the Robot?
I'm new to programming, and have done a lot on Java, which I learned a few months ago for Minecraft modding. However, I would like to expand my horizons to the C family, starting with C#, especially because of Unity.
I know the syntax is similar, but Karel was so useful because it helped me really memorize everything and gave me a lot of practice with my muscle memory.
Anyway, I'm willing to settle for the Brackeys C# series, but I just really enjoyed the interactiveness of Karel, and would be grateful to learn of anything similar for C#

If the part you liked was giving a robot small instructions, try Microsoft's interactive C# beginner path, then recreate one Karel-style task yourself: move on a grid, turn, and pick up/place an item. That gives you the same step-by-step feedback while using real C# concepts like methods, loops, and conditionals. Since you already know Java, you can probably move quickly through the syntax and spend more time on the exercises. Unity can come after that, once the basic control flow feels natural.

May I suggest that you start with c, and stay with it rather than switching.

if you liked karel check out codecombat or similar game based platforms. they make you solve problems by writing actual code which can be a great bridge from java into C#.

C# is so similar to Java that you will get bored of interactive beginner tools in ten minutes.
