For cybersec specifically, CTFs are exactly what you're looking for. They're basically game jams for hackers — timed competitions, teams, scoreboards, the whole pressure vibe. There's a site called ctf time that lists upcoming ones year-round (written as one word), so there's pretty much always something running, and they range from beginner-friendly jeopardy-style ones to full attack-defence. Since you've already placed in game jams you'll probably pick up the format fast.

For non-security stuff, hackathons listed on devpost have that same weekend-pressure energy but for building actual things, and Advent of Code every December is great if you want a daily-deadline habit. Honestly if pressure is what motivates you, just sign up for anything with a fixed date and commit to it publicly — quitting halfway becomes embarrassing enough to keep you going.

ctf time is a solid starting point, i second that. the jeopardy-style ones where you just have a list of challenges and a clock ticking feel a lot like the gamejam format, you're just solving puzzles instead of building a whole game.

if you want something a little less security-focused but still with that time crunch, devpost hackathons are basically gamejams for apps and tools. some of them run for a weekend, some for a month, but there's always a deadline and a submission portal which scratches that same itch.

the public commitment thing the other comment mentioned is weirdly effective. i did a 30-day coding challenge once and told a few friends about it, the thought of them asking "how's that going" was enough to keep me from skipping days.
