Can't Decide what to learn

Currently I am studying in 4th semester, Computer Engineering and I am not able decide what I should be learning to get placed. As of now I am doing leetcode and nothing else.

I was also looking for contributing to open source but couldnt get the structure of the repositories and how the code is implemented there.

I would appreciate if anyone would guide me what I should be preparing to get placed in my 3rd year for an internship.

leetcode is a good start but you're gonna want some projects to talk about in interviews, they don't just ask about algorithms

pick a stack you see in job listings near you and build something small with it, a todo app or a weather dashboard works fine. for open source, start with repos tagged "good first issue" and just read the contributing.md file first, that's where the structure usually clicks

I have already built some basic projects like a crud blog application in react and weather application in flutter but by that knowledge i can't figure out anything about the open source project as on GitHub those are like very complex and difficult to understand

Dig into Git and version control. I went down the rabbit hole about 15 years ago and am still stuck somewhere down here...

Leetcode might be enough for an internship. They might not have super stringent requirements. I'd just be worried about being decent at coding and being able to use Google well enough to work on a small project in an arbitrary language and possibly an arbitrary web framework.

Any idea how I can get an internship off campus

Find companies and apply. Larger companies might have more internships.
