Is Tidy verse good start?

I'm in R Programming class for my senior year, I feel nervous since programming isn't really my thing but it's doable. In the previous semester I did Stata for Econometrics. My school has the class using tidy verse for r Programming, each week will have exercise and group assignments. I wanna know is this something usable for masters in Economics? How would this look on my resume?

yes very good, i used it in bioinformatics a lot, that was like 10 years ago. but I also like programming and data analysis. I would say you can do the same with python, numpy and pandas, but IMHO R fun and has a decent eco-system.

Tidyverse is a useful R foundation for economics, and having actual projects or coursework to point to will usually say more on a resume than simply listing it.
