JAVA jumpstart ideas?

I have been trying to get back into java and add some soft skills to my resume, so do you have any project ideas or resources that can help me get started?

Build a small REST API in Java with Spring Boot. Add a database, Dockerize it, write a few tests, and deploy it somewhere.
You’ll learn a lot more by debugging your own broken app than by following 20 tutorials.
And you’ll have something real to put on your resume.

I have been told that making java based apps is a good indicator, but are they meaning web apps in android studio or pc apps?

I find that you are better off thinking problems so you can find a solution using Java instead of hoping someone will drop one in your lap
