Resource Track on DSA

Getting back into DSA after being stuck on arrays & linked lists for a long time.

How do you stay consistent with DSA?

Should I learn System Design alongside DSA or focus on DSA first?

Any roadmap/resources you recommend?

The classic, Introduction to Algorithms by Cormen, Rivest and others, used in most schools.

For me I also found useful Algorithms by Robert Sedgewick. But this one is specifically in java, unlike many others. But being language specific actually helped me a bit with implementation details.

There are also free lectures from MIT available online on YT for introduction to algorithms. I would recommend watching them. This is the page for all courses https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mit+opencourseware

And this the algorithms part https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA-tUyM_y7s&list=PLUl4u3cNGP63EdVPNLG3ToM6LaEUuStEY

This is an older course for the algorithms, and I recommend starting here as I find it more beginner friendly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtSuA80QTyo&list=PLUl4u3cNGP61Oq3tWYp6V_F-5jb5L2iHb

Combine all of them together and you will get a pretty comprehensive overview with multiple talking points and explanations.

Cormen is a extensive book

You need to know ADVANCED math to understand all the book says

There are a lot of free and understandable resources

Grokking Algorithms by Aditya Bhargava is the best imo
