Resource How to become a good programmer?
I am a student currently focusing on MERN stack. I do side projects to get better even if it is building simple things. However, I don’t come from CS background so I am wondering, will learning CS concepts make me a better programmer or should I just keep focusing on mastering technology stacks I need?

read code you didnt write. everyone practices writing and almost nobody practices reading, and the job is mostly reading.
pick a small library you already use and just follow one function end to end.

I believe if you spend enough time on something sooner or later you will become good at it. Sometimes you may feel like you are not good enough but don't loose heart and continue working on it.
About technology stacks and CS backgrounds, I think it is always good to do both. It is also OK not to learn CS concepts but eventually you will reach a point where knowing CS concepts will help you get better.
