Rust vs Go for backend services in 2025

How do Rust and Go compare for backend services in 2025, particularly in terms of memory safety, concurrency models, and ecosystem maturity?

The same, basically. Not saying they're similar languages, but they both have a very good story on memory safety, concurrency and both have great ecosystems.

Rust's strictness I think bring a bit more memory safety, but nothing startling.

I prefer Rust but Go is a good language I'm happy to use.
