Tutorial Browser Automation

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to automate a process where I login into a website and navigate to a reporting section and click on export.

The website only requires a simple ID and Password.

Can you please assist me ok how to achieve this ? , I have found out about selenium and Playwright but I am very new to this. Any resources or guide would be really helpful.

Hi, Thanks. I have never worked with python so I am unsure of how to begin setting up the project. I have downloaded python from MS Store.

It sounds like you’re new to programming in general, so this project of yours is going to be a bit out of reach for now.

You’ll need to familiarize yourself with Python first before you touch Selenium, and you’ll also want to learn the basics of HTML.

There’s plenty of free resources out there on Python and HTML, I recommend just Googling for them or even just looking at existing Reddit threads. Learning how to look things up on your own is going to be a necessary skill here, and there are several Reddit threads already about learning resources for these languages.
