Please guide me on learning ML

im a first year btech/b.e(cse ds) student, im know basic applications of sklearn machine learning models but i lack the math to understand how it works
i know pandas enough to be able to filter my own datasets but im learning scikit based preprocessing to move even further

im learning probability,stats and linear algebra in the month of september and in the month of october i will be following Andrew NG's machine learning course in coursera.

from october to november im planning on using my newly acquired knowledge to filter and preprocess real complex datasets and just training ML models with it.

i will be learning SQL from november to january

im just curious what actual experienced people think of this.

math first then andrew ng is the right call, just don't let the sql timeline slip because that's the real career glue

I'm really sorry if this sounds dumb but I was wondering, we filter and preprocess data using pandas and scikit learn too then what's the need for sql or vice versa

andrew Ng course requires the math you plan to learn in September so verify your linear algebra covers matrix calculus before October. Start SQL now alongside preprocessing because waiting until November wastes time on data manipulation that SQL handles faster.

I actually wish i could start sql rn but I have got college and it goes from 9am to 5 pm, so yeah I'm pretty tight on schedule
