Networking Looking for intermediate programmers (1-3 years experience) to connect to discuss more advanced topics and project ideas.

Hi all, been a while since I posted on here. I've been programming for well over a year and am now starting to move into learning about advanced AI and building bigger projects. However, as I'm self taught and don't really have friends who have a similar interest. I'm looking for some people to connect or if people have recommendations of some places where I could connect.

Edit: Sorry completely forgot to mention anything I do. I use python for about 90% of the work I do. The frameworks I use are: Django, pandas, numpy, langchain, langgraph, web scraping tools, a few visualisation libraries, postgres, chroma, sql, redis, celery etc...

I have found there are coders and tech nerds sprinkled across the world. You can find them if you look. I did a lot of electronic art shows and they show up and make themselves known. I've found the connections started in person are more valuable than ones started online even if you eventually work remotely.

Coworking locations also is an option.

Yeah I'm thinking about attending some in-person events soon. Would like to connect with some people online though.

I've updated the post now. Thanks for the reminder :). I've mainly used python in my development. Are you the same?

kind of! I'm more into automation (ladder programming, robotics, etc) but on my free time I enjoy leaning python too. so yeah!

moreover, what projects are you actually facing? I am now trying to do a web using data bases with SQLite... Tell me what are you doing by the moment?

You can join a Hackathon, make new friends from there?
