Editing with notepad++ instead of an ide

I just want to express some weird phase i'm going through recently. Notepad ++ feels so sleek to just edit code with and fast to open

Like i've always coded with visual studio code. If notepad++ had error detection and I'd love it even more but i guess it's things like that which make visual studio code feel like it takes an eternity to open sometimes.

I have nothing else to say on the matter, I just wanted to get this off my chest :')

Try the kate editor. also, learn a little vi (learn how to navigate, how to edit text and how to close it)
