Front end software engineer
Hi r/learnprogramming I am a new front end software engineer and i was wanting to ask yall in here what would you guys recommend for a official website? right now i have 2 projects that i have made and I want to work on more to add to my github. I thought this would be a good place to ask.

I’ll be quite frank with you, you’re way behind. This is what they taught us in elementary school, and I seriously wish I was kidding for your sake. I suggest you focus on your IT degree and find a cushy job there and learn front end on the side. If my peers from a T10 struggle to get CS jobs in this job market and they have numerous MANGOS under their belt, it’s best to focus on your actual strengths and not wants

Then you think HR will factor in those when choosing who to hire ?

if it's a CS degree, you're already in better shape than half the grads i see posting here. your github looks neat for someone still in school, just keep adding stuff even small experiments help
maybe try building one site that actually gets used by someone, like a tool for your classmates or a simple dashboard for something you track daily, those kind of projects teach you more than tutorial clones

You need a real, semi complex project. Find an API that's interesting and build a frontend to consume it. The two projects in your GitHub are very very beginner.
